The ingredient of Lentil Curry

  1. 3 tablespoons unsalted butter or melted coconut oil
  2. 1/2 cup diced yellow onion finely, ~1 small onion; 1/2 large onion
  3. 1 cup carrot finely diced, ~1 large carrot
  4. 1 tablespoon minced garlic finely, ~3 cloves
  5. 1/2 tablespoon finely minced ginger ~1 inch piece
  6. 2 tablespoons red curry epoxy resin I use Thai Kitchen which is vegetarian & mild spice
  7. 1 tablespoon yellow curry powder See Note 1
  8. 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala EACH:, paprika, auditorium showground coriander
  9. 1 teaspoon arena cumin
  10. 3/4 teaspoon turmeric
  11. salt
  12. pepper
  13. 14 1/2 ounces crushed tomatoes fire-roasted
  14. 1 teaspoon white sugar
  15. 1 cup lentils green or brown uncooked, See Note 2
  16. 14 1/2 ounces coconut milk lite or regular
  17. 3 cups chicken accretion or broth, Use vegetarian broth or amassing to maintenance this vegetarian/vegan
  18. 1/3 cup cilantro finely diced
  19. juice Optional: zest and, a lemon
